How Miss India 2009 will be selected this year !! Interesting read

The craze for MISS INDIA 2009 is driving me WILD !!
Ever since the new format I am going crazy who those 30 Lucky girls will be all across India who will win !!
Ok now here it goes !!
First of all we have 2 Regional Pageants :
MISS INDIA SOUTH 2009 and MISS INDIA EAST 2009
MISS INDIA SOUTH 2009
Like last year potential candidates residing or born in the south of India, get a chance to participate in the Pantaloons Femina Miss India South 2009. Girls from South India aspiring to compete at the national level could apply to Pantaloons FEMINA Miss India South 2009 (PFMIS2009) which could become their stepping stone to the main pageant. The winner of the south pageant would get a direct entry into the top ten finalists of the Pantaloons Femina Miss India Pageant 2009.
THIS WILL HAVE AUDITIONS IN :
HYDERABAD
MANGALORE
BANGALORE
CHENNAI
The girls selected in these auditions will JUST BE SPOTTED
Then there will be a MEGA AUDITION in HYDERABAD .. AND THEN GIRLS WILL BE SELECTED FOR MISS INDIA SOUTH 2009
THE PAGEANT WINNER WILL BE DIRECT TOP 10 IN MISS INDIA 2009, LIKE PARVATHY OMANAKUTTAM
MISS INDIA EAST 2009
Potential candidates residing or born in the east of India, get a chance to participate in the Pantaloons Femina Miss India East 2009. Girls from East India aspiring to compete at the national level could apply to Pantaloons FEMINA Miss India East 2009 (PFMIE2009) which could become their stepping stone to the main pageant. The winner of the east pageant would get a direct entry into the top ten finalists of the Pantaloons Femina Miss India Pageant 2009.

IN THESE AUDITIONS ALSO GIRLS WILL BE SPOTTED FOR FINALS OF MISS INDIA. BUT ITS NOT SUREITY THAT THEY WILL BE IN FINALS. EG HARSHITA SAXENA WAS SPOTTED IN GOA BUT HAD TO GO THROUGH BOMBAY REGIONALS
ALL THIS DRAMA IS FOR THE 2 MASSIVE REGIONAL ROUNDS :
BOMBAY AND DELHI REGIONALS
THE COMPETETION IS SO FIERCE HERE.ONLY 2% OF APPLICATIONS ARE ACCEPTED. OBVIOUSLY ALL THE SPOTTED GIRLS ARE ALLOWED TO TAKE PART IN THESE 2 REGIONALS
THE OTHER LADIES WHO GET DIRECT ENTRY IN THESE REGIONALS ARE :

THESE 25 PLUS THE MISS SOUTH AND MISS EAST WINNERS MAKE 27
3 - 4 CANDIDATES ARE SPECIAL INVITES OF FEMINA OR CONTESTANTS TRYONG AOUT AGAIN EG NEHA KAPUR
AFTER ALL THIS ELIMINATION A NEW MISS INDIA WILL BE CROWNED !
AND BOY I SAY SHE DESERVS IT !

Interesting! The winner would definitely deserve the crown after all the hard work and elimination. It's as if passing through a needles hole.

Parvathy was also a PFMIS winner.. She won the first ever Miss India South competition.. and advanced to femina Miss India as the First finalist .. !!

I only hope two things for Femina next year.
First, Harshita Saxena joining again.
Second, winners with the same caliber as that of Sushmita, Lara, Celina and Neha.
